The winner of yesterday’s trivia question was JuJu Kerr.  She knew that the Galapagos Islands are in Ecuador.

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month.  We will be celebrating each morning with a trivia question regarding Hispanic heritage in our country.  Write your answers and name on a piece of paper and put it in the TRIVIA RESPONSES box outside the door of room 103.  If you do not know the answer, feel free to look it up.  Each afternoon a winner will be chosen and a prize awarded the next day.  BUENA SUERTE!  Good luck.

The Art Club sweatshirts are ready to be ordered.  Art Club members and anyone who wants to wear the coolest sweatshirt at STM, should come see Mrs. Pagel by Friday, October 4.  The sweatshirts are $25.

A representative from Bradley University will be here today, Wednesday, October 2, during the lunch periods.  Stop by and ask your college admissions questions and see what Bradley has to offer.

Please join us tonight, October 2 at 7:15 pm in the library for ND on the Road.  Representatives from the University of Notre Dame will be here to share important information about admissions and what the University of Notre Dame has to offer students and families.

Do you want to know who Bob is?  Do you want to join the elite who know all about Bob?  Well join us in room 214 every Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm for Art Club.  We look forward to seeing you there.

You’re craving salsa!  STM’s new Spanish Club, Conexiones, will be offering 3 free mini salsa dance lessons in honor of Hispanic Heritage month.  Our very own talented dancers Gorvi and Rina will be teaching the basic salsa steps from 7:30 to 7:50 am in room 103 on Thursday, October 3 and Monday, October 7.  Pre-registration is required.  Puntos culturales will be offered to Spanish 1 participants.  Sign up before registration fills up.

There will be an interest meeting for the bowling team on Thursday, October 3 at 3:15 pm in the library.  Please show up if you plan on bowling this upcoming season.

Join us every Thursday, right after school, in Mr. Davis’s room 102 for the Chess Club meeting.  All levels of skill are welcome.

There will be a meeting right after school on Friday, October 4.  This meeting will be for any girls that plan to play basketball this upcoming season.  The meeting will be held in the cafeteria and will last about 15 minutes.

Do you think you could beat Mr. Ray in a riveting game of Ping Pong?  If so, join the Ping Pong Club after school on Fridays.  The matches are held in the hallway outside the cafeteria. 

Join us in the library every Friday after school for Game Club.  Come play Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, Chess, UNO, Catan, and other types of games. There will be snacks and drinks provided.  Bring your friends and stay for a little or awhile!

Join the Literature Club after school in room 204 today, Friday, October 4, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.  We hope to see you there.
