Chess Club is planning to compete against other schools this year! Any level of players including the first-time player is always welcome. Picture Day is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, August 18. All students need to be in Mass Attire to have their picture taken. These pictures will be for the school ID card. Seniors, this is the picture that will be part of the Class of 2023 class composite to be hung in the halls of STM. Picture order forms are to be given to the photographer, not to the school office. Order forms are available in the school office.
Friday, August 19, is a Saber Day! Students may wear a Saber Spirit top, school bottoms, and tennis shoes.
Attention Spanish Honors Society Officers: There will be a meeting on Friday, August 19th at 7:15 am in Room 103. We will discuss the plans for the year.
Friday, August 19, 3:00 pm is the last day for students to drop or change a class. Check your email from Sr. Bridget for the form to request a change.
Math Club will discuss some ACT problems and other interesting problems this fall semester. Additionally, Math Club hosts monthly short seminars. The first meeting and also the first seminar for this month is on August 22nd. Math clubs meet every Monday at 3:10pm in room 216. Be there or be squared!
STM Music offers After-school Band Club, P.M. (“Play More”). P.M. is for anyone who wants to practice and learn any new instruments (brass, winds, strings, and percussion). P.M. will meet every Monday, 3:05-4:00 PM in the music room for winter performances. Students in band and percussion class are also encouraged to join P.M. in order to broaden their musical experience and to get extra points. P.M.’s first intro meeting will be on August 22, Monday. Don’t hesitate to contact Dr. Lee for questions.
