Yesterday, we had our May Crowning and the seniors' last all-school mass. Fr. O'Brien gave a special blessing to the seniors. Parents were also invited to attend, if available. It was a lovely occasion!

Orders can be picked up at Country Arbors this Friday, May 6th from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. All STM orders will be grouped together and sorted by item. Please provide the staff with your name upon arrival.

Today was Field Day and a grand time was had by all! St. Kateri won the day, but St. Peter took home the Saber Cup. Way to go, St. Peter, and congrats!

On Monday, Apr. 25th, Three band students and four art students attended the Illinois Prairie Conference Art Show and Concert. Students participated in workshops during the afternoon, then presented an art show and concert in the evening. The All Conference band students Kate McMillan, Anne Schwenk and Kristina Maloney turned in an outstanding performance with the Band and the visual arts students won several awards. The Student Choice Award was given to Josh Pierce, the Teacher Choice Award to Amelia Case, Second Place in Digital Art was Emma Graham, Second Place in Painting was Amelia Case, First Place in Pen and Ink was Amelia Case, Third Place in Painting was Josh Pierce and First Place in Mixed Media was Josh Pierce. Be sure to congratulate all these winners for a great job, and be sure to come to Fine Arts Night on May 4th starting at 6pm to see these pieces and more!

Today was "Anything But a Backpack" day for Prom Week. Students could use anything but a backpack to carry their things (or themselves) around school. It was quite the day. Tomorrow is "Dress Like Your Favorite Administrator" day. Let's see how creative they can be!

Mark your calendars for a special celebration of Divine Mercy at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24th at Holy Cross Church, Champaign. The celebration will include Adoration, reflection on God’s mercy, praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and an opportunity for Confession.
After the Divine Mercy celebration, you are welcome to stay for Sunday Mass at 4:00 p.m.
