Conditional Award Expiration Deadline Changing June 1
As a reminder, students who receive a Conditional Award in May will have 30 days to accept or decline their scholarship. This extension was granted in an effort to accommodate those who may have limited computer or internet access due to COVID-19.
However, with the new school year fast approaching, students who receive an award after June 1 will only have 15 days to accept or decline their scholarship. Please remind families to check their EmpowerXChange portals regularly to make sure their award does not expire.
If families have questions about their application or awards status, please direct them to our Scholars Helpline (309-416-0741, scholars@empowerillinois.org).
